If you would like to submit a name to our award committee for consideration in the selection process for our award recipiants, complete the form below and submit a nomination. All nominations must be received no later than Friday, August 26, 2011.

Nomination Criteria

Susan Still Award - Given annually to one Erie County resident who has dedicated his/her career to serving and advocating for victims of domestic/intimate partner violence and their families. The individual’s service may include professional and/or volunteer experience. The individual will have demonstrated uncommon courage, tenacity, and compassion over a lifetime of exemplary service to victims of domestic violence.

The Buffalo News Founders Award - Given to one or more individuals or organizations who have demonstrated innovation in the creation and delivery of services to victims of domestic/intimate partner violence and their families and/or who have demonstrated innovation in the creation and delivery of education/outreach programs on this issue. The services and/or programs must have been delivered in Erie County.
